The Central Colorado Mountains are situated west of Colorado Springs and southwest of Denver.  This area includes the Pikes Peak Region, the Wet Mountain Valley, Sangre De Cristo Range and the Collegiate Peaks. 

This area is also a place that inspires you to try your hand at everything from hiking its pine covered mountains to white water rafting in the Arkansas River, biking along miles of scenic trails, or fishing the world class rivers like the Arkansas, Platte and Tarryall.  More fishing and boating are yours to enjoy in the many nearby lakes and reservoirs like Elevenmile Canyon, Spinney, and Antero.

If skiing is your sport, there are plenty of nearby choices like Breckenridge, Vail, Aspen, Monarch, Keystone, Eldora, Cooper and Copper.
