The ranch is ideally situated at the end of the road, bordered by the Pike National Forest on (2) sides with private gated access into non-motorized equestrian riding trails. Immerse yourself in thousands of acres of contiguous public lands and take in the exhilarating views, towering pine forests, colorful aspens and impressive rock formations.
Your journey to the ranch builds with excitement as soon as you pass through the main gate. Travel along impeccably manicured grounds and by its impressive horse facilities and shops. Watch for horses in the outside training areas and round pen as well as those grazing on pastures near two seasonal catch ponds. Find a mixture of gently rolling topography and sun-filled meadows surrounded by pines and aspens. The road rises up to a custom designed mountain home positioned along a hidden ridge. The home features stunning and unobstructed views of snow-capped Pikes Peak, the centerpiece of the ranch’s scenic backdrop to the south. To the north and west, there are incredible views of the Tarryall Mountains. Expect to see amazing mountain scenery both coming and going! Echo Valley Ranch also has a diverse wildlife habitat and is a favorite spot for local herds of migrating trophy elk and mule deer. You will also spot occasional black bear and a variety of other of native wildlife, including small game and birds such as eagle, hawk and turkey.
The main home has a well-planned architectural design to optimize and capture the exhilarating Pikes Peak views. It was built in 1995 and remodeled in 2019 with a spacious 5,496 finished SF. It has a clean, mountain modern layout, with vaulted ceilings and windows to highlight the spectacular 2-story views of Pikes Peak. The great room is complemented by a grand semicircular floating staircase and a natural stone and wood-burning fireplace. The main level has an open format with a gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar, separate kitchen nook and dining room, great room, master bedroom and mud/laundry room. Welcoming finishes include pickled oak cabinetry and floors, Corian countertops, new appliances, low maintenance windows/doors, decorative lights and warm tones. The master suite is complete with a sitting area and gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, dual vanities, third handicap level sink, walk-in shower and (2) abundant closets. A generous and newly installed wrap-around deck (Trex) with a covered electric awning offers a front seat view of Pikes Peak and overlooks the grounds. It is the perfect place to watch the dances of the delightful and colorful mountain hummingbirds. An in-house elevator services four levels of the home and there are other handicap accessible features throughout. A unique semicircular staircase takes you to a bright and open loft on the upper level with sitting/library areas, decks and an office. Spoil your family and friends with the (2) guest bedrooms and shared bath - each with windows that bring in the mountain views. The lower-level walkout has a family rec-relaxation area, flex room that can be used as an office, a separate hobby room and an exercise room. A small, covered patio welcomes you to the outside to enjoy the warm Colorado sunshine.
A working horse ranch is never complete without all the improvements to make it an all-inclusive, one-of-a-kind, 5-star horse heaven. Be impressed with an indoor regulation dressage arena that meets the World Equestrian Federation parameters (10,664 SF). Built in 2015, it is an outstanding building for training in classical dressage, western riding, jumping, reining and cutting horses. It is climate controlled with 20-foot sidewalls, (2) large electric doors, a specialty dirt/sand floor with ground up tennis shoe material for optimal horse footing and mirrored walls. There are also hanging chandelier lights cleverly operated via a remote for upwards clearance for horses and riders - lighting that Liberace himself would approve of!
Attached to the arena is a 12-stall “Barnmaster” barn with (2) heated tack rooms, covered porch, wash bay, finished and heated sleeping quarters w/full kitchen and small living area/lounge. There is also RV hookups, septic and water. The Property is further enhanced for outdoor training with a 100- ft. diameter round pen and large outdoor training area with sand footing. The property is perimeter fenced (barbed wired) and has three separate fenced pastures (braided electric wire).
Another essential building on the ranch is a heated shop, brightly lit and oversized (3,904 SF) with RV hookup and inside RV storage, a bathroom, washer and dryer, woodstove, and plenty of work and interior storage space. Attached to the shop is another storage garage with overhead door and man door. There is an additional barn behind the shop with 4-stalls, rubber mats, feeders, tack room, wash bay, paddocks and exterior steel welded gates. A separate one-car garage area is also part of the barn’s structure. Nearby is a 3-sided loafing shed. Located near the shop and upper barn, is an extra-large equipment storage building (1,848 SF) with steel fabricated sides and frame, cement floor, windows, (2) roll up doors, man door and hay loft.

Complete with a 1-bedroom loft, kitchenette and living area with flip down seating to accommodate another sleeping area.
